Bowl For Kids Sake

We welcome businesses and members of the general public to participate in our annual Bowl for Kids Sake event—our largest fundraiser of the year, supporting a significant portion of our annual funding goals. Businesses from across Barrie, Innisfil, and Angus sponsor this event as a meaningful way to give back and demonstrate their commitment to supporting the local community.

Our Barrie Bowl for Kids Sake campaign usually runs during the last weeks of March and directly engages hundreds of local participants, volunteers, families, and corporate teams, while also reaching a broader local audience through event promotion and community visibility.

Please visit our event pages or contact the Fundraising Coordinator for more information.

Run Your Own Event

These community-led fundraising events are organized by individuals, businesses, or community groups (such as school groups, unions, service clubs, or corporations) to help raise the funds needed for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie and District to operate and grow. These efforts help ensure that local children and youth gain the confidence to achieve more through a life-changing mentoring relationship.

An event can be almost any activity organized by a non-affiliated individual or group. While Big Brothers Big Sisters does not hold fiduciary responsibility and typically has little to no staff involvement, we are happy to support and guide you wherever possible to help make your event a success. Event ideas may include hosting a dinner party with friends, organizing a golf tournament, running an auction, planning a give back day, coordinating a garage sale, or creating a fun and unique “something-for-kids-sake” fundraiser.
